Tiles of size 7.06 cm x 7.06 cm are thoroughly pressed face-wise under a pre-defined or specific load on the grinding path. Abrasive powder is spread over the rotating grinding disc, which is located on the tile's parallel side and is subjected to wear at similar rotations. The wear taken by the tile is measured with the help of a thickness gauge apparatus, which is specifically designed for this purpose only.
